Operator messaging privacy policy

Who and what this covers

Travis J Lewis, doing business as Is for Hire, operates this messaging program for business owners and authorized operators. This policy covers operator SMS enrollment, account and service texts, support replies, and related permission records. The public website has a separate website privacy notice.

Information we use

We collect your name and business/contact details, email address, confirmed mobile number, SMS permission or refusal, the consent script and version, and when and by whom the response was recorded. We also process messages, support requests, lead summaries delivered to you, delivery status, and opt-out records.

We use this information to deliver the account and service messages you requested, provide support, maintain accurate permission records, honor opt-outs, and protect the service. We do not use this SMS permission to send marketing messages.

Providers and sharing

We use service providers, including Twilio for text delivery and our hosting and database providers, to operate and secure the service on our behalf. They may process the information needed for those services. We do not sell or rent mobile information or share it with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

Storage and retention

Permission records are stored in our private CRM with access limited to authorized staff. We retain information while needed for account support, documenting permission, honoring opt-outs, resolving disputes, or meeting applicable obligations. Opt-out records may need to remain so we do not resume texts after a deletion request. We do not publish individual operators’ permission records as public registration evidence.

Your choices and contact

SMS permission is optional. Reply STOP to stop texts, or contact support@isforhire.com to withdraw permission, request access or correction, or ask for deletion of information we no longer need to keep. Reply HELP for messaging help. You can continue to use email for service updates. We will explain any information that needs to be retained when responding to a deletion request.
